Would you believe I've been to and witnessed Sunshine?

On Saturday, 10.04.10, 17 of us took one of the hugest risks in our lives.

We took a train to Ballarat, 1.5 hours away from Melbourne, a totally different city altogether.

Sovereign Hills entrance fee - $30

Yes. My heart broke.

But then again, it's Ballarat. I can now say YES I'VE BEEN TO BALLARAT WHOOOOOO honestly.

Was regretting it all the way there, but since you can't go back in time, just move forward.

Only into my 3rd official week of classes and I'm drowning in homework :/

M&C homework has kept me up till 2am in the morning. I thought it would be a piece of cake. But then what do you know? This cake has rocks in it, and all I seem to bite into is rock after rock after rock.

Pardon my weak metaphor. Lol. I also have a psychology assignment due this friday, a solo drama mine this wednesday, and an E&D essay due on April 1st. Holy moly wtf.

I'm doing well in college though (: also doing fine in boarding house. Also doing fine with my new friendships. Also doing well with my now-thinning wallet. *cough*

Some people - you think you know them.

They have this mask on, you see. They only allow you to see one side of them. Next thing you know, the mask's whipped off and you see their true colours, which is of the most disgusting kind.

Some friends you just do not need. Some friends you just have to force away, dust yourself off and forget that they ever existed.

FAIR DINKUM, MATE.

One fine night, we went to Carlton Gardens at 10pm to feed possums. Yes I know it was random. Haha blame Xiu Shan. He told me how he went the previous night and I was like O.o ! So I decided to go feed the fat raccon-ish thing too.

So fat right! :O See the white stuff its eating? That's $3 bread. Wah they really know how to enjoy their little lives :D

Then last Sunday, March 7th, we went to the annual Moomba festival, near the Yarra River.

Hey so I've decided to update. :/

what have i been up to? Nothing much. In fact, nothing at all.

Butbutbut thank god i stay in the suburbs for now cos I know how to take the public transport now!
Just yesterday I took the bus to The Pines (bus 273) then took a bus there to the city (bus 304). Stopped on Swanston St and walked to Drummond St (near Lygon). Hahahaha I got lost halfway and my subconscious brought me to Kokoblack *facepalm.

Then walked to Flinders Train Station to meet my brother, who just finished school to makan dinner. He said half an hour. I waited for an hour +, while a couple made out behind me and groups of people smoke beside me. Uncomfortable.

Then when he arrived, we walked to Melbourne Central and took a tram to Lygon :D Dinner at Mark's, best pizzas ever. (: had my King Prawn and Calamari salad while Jen had a pizza AND a t-bone steak. Medium rare. The bill came to about $60. I paid $50. Oklah, considerding I asked him to go city -.-

Then went to Albert House. Moving in, hopefully, Feb 20th. Hopefully Emelia comes thru for me *fingers crossed.

Then took the train from Flinders'. Route: Lilydale. Stopped at Box Hill, while Jen had a few more stops. From Box Hill, bus 286 was it? to the Pines. arrived at The Pines, already 8pm, but still bright (yes, during summer, it only gets dark about 9pm) so called a taxi cos walking back sounded like a terrible idea. (Don't wear flipflops for the whole day, blisters). Taxi called didn't see me so he went on his merry way. In panic, I called Stephanie and she asked Auntie Shu to pick me up. Grateful anf tired, flopped on sofa upon reaching home.

Then it became cool outside! So Stephanie and I sat on the rocks and ber-emo and it got really dark. I brushed my hand over a rock and heard something cracking. I flashed my phone over it...and screamed.

A SNAIL. I ran back to the kitchen and washed my hands, 3 times. With soap. Stephanie? She just laughed. -.-

Anyway, yeah, I think I have accomplished much today (:

And you only pay like (for me la) about almost rm70 for a month?

I'm staying in Doncaster now (say it! sounds damn nice! :D) and the broadband's about 30 GB a month.

Which's good, great, even! but I try not to download so much stuff so everyone can use it evenly.

I'm thoughtful like that! HAHAHAHA.

But, according to Nicole, our hostel only provides 1 GB per month.

So there i was, bored out of my mind, re-reading Brisingr (lovely book btw, albeit abit draggy) and wondering when I last updated my blog.

This is not Brisingr. I didn't have any more pictures in my desktop after I cleared everything so I dug these up from Facebook. You've got to love Facebook xD

By jolly, I think I'll update this thing. Nothing much to do anyway cause everyone is in college now. I'm cracking my head (not literally. eww, what's wrong with you?) thinking of things to do.

I was just wondering how it would feel like to go to college locally. Now. In Taylor's or HELP or Sunway or TAR or Inti or whatever. Certainly, I'd be more busy than I am now, being as busy as a koala who has just had a full meal of eucalyptus leaves and is now ambling back to his nook in a tree.

They don't do much, those koalas.

Heyyyy I know I'm a bit late in saying this but

ahha, so relieved. Can you believe it was just 12 months ago we freaked out for it? Anyway I hope against hope that the results next March/April will be up to expectations mmkay.

An Unforgettable Incident
on my way home from school :)

It was a scorchingly hot day. I was my way home from school and I was perspirating heavily, beads of sweat rolling of my forehead. The usual 15 minutes walk it took for me to reach home now seemed like an eternity. The sun's unforgiving rays of light was making me in dire need of water.

The trees provided little or no shade as they were few and far between. This was not unusual for a sprawling city like Kuala Lumpur, but they now proved more a nuisance than ever. Every step was like torture. I couldn't wait to get home.

5 minutes from home, I spotted something different along the row of shoplots I walked past regularly. At the corner of the shoplots I saw an old lady manning a nasi lemak stall. She seemed to be in her seventies. The stall was simple and fuss-free. It consisted of a table with the trays of (hand-made, presumably) nasi lemak arranged neatly on it. She sat on a plastic chair and gazed hopefully at the passerbys, who blatantly ignored her. What amazed me most was that she was braving the harsh rays of light and her stall was set up out of the shade.

She noticed me staring and smiled at me hopefully, gesturing at her nasi lemak. Even from afar I could see the wrinkles etched on her face. Jer faded t-shirt was drenched with sweat. The slippers she was wearing were so think, I reckoned she could feel the heat emanating from the ground. I was dying to get home, but one look at her face made me do otherwise. I searched my pockets for spare change, but came up with nothing. I looked at the lady and shook my head ruefully. She looked devastated. I felt terrible.

Just then, an expensive-looking car rolled up in front of the old lasy's stall, no doubt belonging to a rich and successful person. It stopped. The look of surprise on the old lady's face was unmistakable. The door opened and an impeccably coiffed young man came down. He smiled at the old lady and gestured at her goods. I could see him speaking, but I do not know of what. The old lady's face went through a series of emotions, from incredulity then to shock, then to happiness.

The young man took out his wallet and peeled off a hundred ringgit bill and handed it to the old lady. She took it, her eyes sparkling. The young man then proceeded to move the trays of nasi lemak to his car. After he was done, he got back in, smiled at the old lady and drove off.

I was rooted to my spot. Finally, I walked over to the old lady and asked her what happened. With tears of happiness in her eyes, she said that the young man had offered to buy all her nasi lemak so she could go home early because the weather was unbearably hot. I smiled. She looked so happy. I then proceeded to help her pack her table and chair into a cart, which she hitched onto her bicycle. I waved her a last goodbye and went home.

All day, I pondered on the incident that happened right befoe my evry eyes. I was heartened to know that there were people out there who possesed suck kindness. My generation was lucky to have people like the young man to look up to. I vowed to do something good everyday, just to see the difference I could make. It was indeed, an unforgettable incident.

Hellooo. Just wanted to share some good news. :)

Guess who got into Whitefriars College, Melbourne?

My little brother :D

He stayed up all night after work to work on his essay "Why I would like to Study in Australia" and all that shizz.

And he got in!

So yeah, everybody congratulate him!

(and you all do know its an all-boys school right? :D but heck they have the awesomest timetable which includes photography and all that jazz)

& btw, he's been transferred from Santini to San Francisco Steakhouse ahahaha

Wokay so anyways today I woke up to a massive sore throat and then fever. I blame it on sleeping @ 3 am. Picked my brother up from work @ 2.30AM. Yes you read right, 2bloody30 AM.

Brother dearest wanted to work, see, so he had more $ to spend in Aussie. (I complained quite a bit, I must say, cause I never got to in Form 3 :[)

So now he's working @ Santini, Tropicana City, as a waiter.

YES ALL YOU FRIENDS OF HIS. He's got on this long sleeved white shirt and the black slacks and the tie and the leather shoes and the nametag that says "TJ"
"WHAAAAAA yyou put TJ? Only? O_O" "Yeaaaaaah. Cool ma.." "That's like, damn weird."

You try calling your waiter TJ.
"HOIII, TJJJJJ."

HAHAHA, still cracks me up.

But his stupid workhours are now cut short because really, 2.30 am?? then he's got to get to work the next day by 10AM. So my dad told him "10-10 OR ELSE NO JOB."

I pick him up everyday :P cause I get to drive :P:P:P

"okay, pa, now I earn my own money I can smoke & drink and all that right? *hopeful puppy dog eyes*"
"No."

Yeah that's all for my brother's new job. Regardless of what I facebooked/tweeted about, don't be too hard on him when you go there and he happens to be your waiter. Cause the poor guy's been on his feet the whole entire time :)

Anywayssss back to my sorethroat & fever. I cannot cannot CANNOT sleep @ odd hours. My system crashes and then the fever comes. My system's weak that way lol (but i've never had a nosebleed so cool right?)
So that's why you never see my online past 9pm. Cause if I go later my eyes start to hurt like hell, and if I go to sleep anywhere past midnight, the next day the fever washes over me like a tidal wave.

But what to do?

SPM's just around the corner. My solutio is wake up to study @ 3am. So if you're up, msg me. We can talk bio :P

Something happened in taekwondo today that totally made my day.

No, we didn't order the seniors to do jump squats or frog jumps.

See, my friend, Mrs. Archuleta had a not-so-secret admirer who stalks her that we shall call...Stalker. Cause a bunch of you know him and broadcasting his stalkiness might embarass his already terrible (snicker) day. Poor Stalker didn't know what was coming the day he started stalking Mrs. A.

Said Stalker initially didn't show any stalkerish characteristics, see. And then...

"HI ARE YOU AWAKE YET?" - 6am.
"HI ARE YOU AWAKE NOW?" - 9am.
"HI ARE YOU HAVING LUNCH NOW?" - 11am.
"HI WHERE ARE YOU NOW?" - noon.
"SO WHAT TIME'S YOUR TUITION OVER?" - 2pm.

And so on and so forth. (I'm sorry Mrs. A (she's not really David's wife but sh'es a huge crazy fan so hence the name :D), but I've got to laugh abit here. HAHAHAHAHHAH)

Then the calls start.

"HELLO? HELLO? ARE YOU THERE"

So you can imagine how incredibly annoyed Mrs. A was. But it provided some amusement for her mother and I. (I must laugh again her, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH)

Thenn...today in taekwondo, we mentioned the whole thing to alot of people in class, cause you know, the whole thing was kinda funny. We even told sir (must laugh again here, my insides are splitting HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA) and we made our plans to put poor Stalker off.

After class, Mrs. A looked thru her phone and hallelujah, Stalker alert. Mrs. A told us and in the end, we passed the phone to Siao Kia (cause that's what he really is. Cause he says so. *shrug*)

"EH HELLO. 做什么你一直打给这个电话号码？"

But I don't think Stalker speaks Chinese and told Siao Kia so.

So.

"HELLO. EYH. WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING THIS NUMBER? WHY YOU TELL ME? CAN YOU TELL ME WHY? WHY DO YOU KEEP SAYING SORRY? SORRY WHAT SORRY-"

Stalker had, apparently, hung up.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH. I tell you, epic.

I decided to try calling Stalker myself.

He didn't pick up no more. :(

So today I was @ Lynnette's to study. Or so we thought.

Yi May came over about 10 and then we headed to OU to get the AAR tickets. I had my paddington's I'm so happy :D:D:D

When we got back to Lynnette's, her grandma wanted to go to DJ for a haircut so Lynnette said I could send her there. I was accomplished, wasn't I? I passed my road test, didn't I? I could drive an easy peasy proton saga there, couldn't I?

Or so I thought.

The car mati-ed enjin so many times I cursed manual cars and never wanted to drive one ever again. Lynnette's grandma said I could just drop her off @ the bridge linking DU to DJ. So I did.

Then Lynnette took over the steering wheel, and she mati-ed enjine tooooo hahahahahahah we are epic phailures.

Then when we got back we hung out @ +wondermilk and I think I fell in love with that place. I'm sosososososososososososo liking their food yumyum.

Then went back to Lynnette's and as I was flipping thru her Taylor Swift album booklet, the lyrics looked pretty weird. It was in small letters but certain letters had been capitalized like ThIs.

I'm so happy I finally passed my driving test! :)

Was @ school bright and early at 7.20am to take my Physics 1 exam then Esther and I rushed to the driving centre. Many many hugs to my dad for sending us there :D

After we'd checked in and everything, I recieved a surprising text from Emelia,

"Hey, are you taking your driving test?"

EMELIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! OMIGOD!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D

Esther went first then Emelia then I. We were all appropriately freaked out, fearing the worst, as most of the people failed their slope. Emelia counted: 13/30. She was 31st. That's not even half of the first half! (did you get that? o.o)

I was lucky number 1P. Really, really lucky :D I got in the car and prepped myself up and just as I was feeling slightly calmer, this guy calls me to get down the car and let some old man take my place. In my car.

DAMN POTONG. :( Had to wait abit before another car was available. Then when I went on the slope (my worst nightmare) I kinda panicked at the top cause WHY CAN'T I GO FORWARD. Brushing aside all Mr. Fung's advice about not too much oil, I slammed my foot on the accelerator and I shot down the hill :D RELIEVED.

Then parking and 3point turn I did quite well. So very very happy as I was getting out of the 3point turn box I suddenly remembered how Yi May failed her 1st exam. My left foot started wobbling on the clutch. But thank god I made it just fine. :D

Congrats to Emelia! :) & Esther don't worry you'll do fine the next round when you don't have some PMS-y guy beside you :)

HAPPY HAPPY. I can now forget everything about manual, I've got auto cars! :D

Nothing special, mosey along now.

Yesterday right, I was on my weekly jog. I was geared up for a normal run, as usual, but you know how life is never how you predict it to be. That's why we have universal remotes. Not.

Lame jokes aside, went TTDI park with Pat & Ms. Chan as usual, like we always do on thursday evenings.

Something happened that was so huge in magnitude that I thought I would be permanently traumatized.
I saw THIS HUGE IGUANA. :O

Okay fine kidding. :D though I did see the iguana.

Anyway as I was completing my run (though more like a brisk walk now haha) I saw a crowd of people crowding over something. Or rather, someone.
O.O

"Somebody call an ambulance! I think she's not breathing!"

Holy shit, not breathing? To make matters worse, she was foaming at the mouth too. Being biology students, Pat and I...naturally had no clue what was happening to her. So Ms. Chan made a hasty emergency call to send someone over so the poor dear can be transported to the hospital. Cause, you know, fainting and foaming at the mouth must mean something serious. Apparently said poor dear crashed into slope, got up and promptly crashed into a row of bushes, and didn't get up after.

"Where the hell is the frigging ambulance!" alot of us must have wondered impatiently. The woman was clearly in no condition to run to Damansara Specialist for heaven's sake. And Zhenchi's efforts to lift her to the main entrance was smacked off. I mean, he was slapped by the poor dear.

Something had to be done now.
And the answer came in the form of 2 police officers.

Waitaminute now, police officers??? REALLY? What are police officers doing, adding to the throng of curious onlookers peering at the poor dear?

Get this, they were sent to see that Ms. Chan wasn't making a prank call, see.
WTF! Life and death you know!
22 minutes later, (holy cow, 22 minutes???) the ambulance finally arrived. They finally got the poor dear onto the stretcher (hold on now, wrong way, *paramedics turn her around) and bundles her off in the ambulance, followed by her concerned dad.

What I would like to stress here is, 22 minutes??? Hello, I can run to Damansara Specialist and back in that amount of time okay?

The best part was, see, while Ms. Chan was talking very urgently to the pihak yang terlibat about sending an ambulance, the guy asked

"Mana TTDI park?"
"Near the primary school/mosque/various other landmarks"
"Oh. Bangunan ke?"

*smacks forehead.

Hoping against hope, our medical service can improve alot more. For the sake of the soon-to-be-in-need.
Here's praying for a speedy recovery to the poor dear. :)

Okayyy. Its thursday of the raya holidays and I can safely say

I AM SHIT BORED.

Outings planned are somehow jinxed this week and if it isnt one thing its the other.
All I've been doing the whole week (like clockwork)

I'm telling you, like clockwork. Based on the above you can predict what time I'll be online everyday. Or what time I'm watching downloaded-but-very-very-clear movies. Or what time I'll be stuffing my face with food that I didn't cook but by my personal chef-in-training.

Really now. After this week I finally understand the meaning of mundane. I'm not liking this one itsy bitsy teeny weeny tiny bit. Plus, the weather's so effing pms-y. One day its strong winds with a hint of rain and then its as hot as the bloody sahara (no offense to the sahara, i'm sure its a very nice place. I was just exaggerating)

So far movies I've watched & rewatched are Transformers 2, The Fast & The Furious, 17 Again, GI Joe, Where Got Ghost & Transformers 2. Oh did I mention Transformers 2?

COME ON. There is only so much autobot/decepticon madness I can take. :(

(P.S GI Joe was indeed a verrry nice movie btw)

(P.P.S Where Got Ghost is only 10% funny. The other parts were scary. Emphasis on the Scare)

Remember I was supposed to head to Alor Setar during the start of the hols? Well dad had a huge meeting the very day and the trip was cancelled. Then he said a short trip to somewhere with sun and sand but that was cancelled too because brother dearest had intensive maths tuuuuuition on wed & thurs. Then brother dearest's tuuuuuition was cancelled toooo. :(

This week has been jinxed from the very start.

The only thing that keeps me sane is my phone...but he's quitting on me too. Stupid thing has been whiting out like the bloody south pole (no offense to the south pole, im sure its a very nice place) and then the colours have been mating and now my screen is a medley of colours and many more YOU've probably never heard about.

I'm going to blog about something I've been giving alot of thought to lately. Well, okay, not lately, but something I'm pretty sure you guys know about that I'm strongly against.

ANIMAL CRUELTY.

Yes. I'm going to narrow it down and just stick to something that touches alot of people's hearts: food.

Yes all you munch-happy people can kill me for blasting your fave foods okay.

First up,

FOIE GRAS.

I'm sure everyone knows what it is right?

Well, if you don't, I wikipedia-ed it:

Foie gras (pronounced /fwɑːˈɡrɑː/ in English; French for "fat liver") is a food product made of the liver of a duck or goose that has been specially fattened. This fattening is typically achieved through gavage (force-feeding) corn, according to French law, though outside of France it is rarely produced using natural feeding.

Okay. Now that's cleared, you know why I'm against foie gras ok. The force-feeding bit. I mean, if you were a duck or goose and I kept stuffing down food down your throat how would YOU feel?

Next, something both Lynnette and I are strongly against:

SHARK FIN SOUP.
Or shark fin anything in general.

You do know what shark fin is made of right? Well then do you know how it came about? Not to worry, I wiki-ed it too:

Major declines in shark populations have been recorded in recent years—some species have been depleted by over 90% over the past 20–30 years with a population decline of 70% not being unusual. My family loves this like crazy but everytime they order it I always give them hell about how it comes about. Then I refuse to touch it. I mean, for every bowl you eat how many sharks are rotting at the bottom at the ocean? How many of them were swimming peacefully when they were just caught and their fin cut off and thrown back in the ocean?

BLUEK. Thinking about it makes me sick.

If you must must must have shark fin, get the imitation ones ok? Its just like eating real shark fin but it doesn't kill any sharks.

Especially my dear friends, Zunika and Sheau Yuong,

"You don't want to eat shark fin? No problem we help you eat"

*smacks forehead.

This eating thing also extends to turtle eggs, though I'm sure you know full well the turtles in Malaysia are declining in numbers. Yet there are people happily chomping down turtle eggs like there won't be any turtles left tomorrow.

Well, that COULD happen if they keep eating turtle eggs like nobody's business.

Do you know, I've never seen a real turtle before, in the flesh, laying eggs!

Save the Turtles! ... before its too late.

By the way, this morning I read about the dolphin killing in Taiji. Let me tell you, reading about that does send shivers down you spine. Especially the picture with the water stained blood red. If you read The Star, its in today's StarTwo go see.

It feels better once I wrote all this down :)

I lovelovelove saturday mornings :)

I'm gonna complete a totally nonesensical post that's full of typos if I want to. Like, right now. Because I feel like it. Because I'm cool like that. Because that's how I roll.

Cliches aside, I hate waking up in the late mornings. I prefer waking up around 8 or 9-ish. Just cause the sun won't be penetrating thru my sunshiny yellow curtains with the penetrating power of gamma rays. Or worse. I actually prefer waking up at the ungodly hour of 5.45am I always do on schooldays, (I only do so because brother dearest takes an hour to shower so I take my turn first or I won't get to school till 12.30 pm, and if he's late, well too bad :P...and okay, because I watch the simpsons at 6.30 hahahahah)

SO ANYWAY. I woke up today at 10.30 and i regretted it instantly. Its too hot, I whined inwardly. Why are my curtains sunshiny yellow? Why couldn't I get black drapes, block out all the gamma ray wannabes? Or like, really cool red curtains, break the monotony of my room? :(

I can't even redecorate my room because since I'll be leaving next year it would be a good waste of my college fund. See, I'm thoughtful that way :D Hahahahhaah. I take consolation that I'll be able to decorate my college room next year whoopdedoo. *fingers still crossed I'll get in. College, i mean, not the dorm. but that too.*

Back to my sunshiny yellow curtains. Okay, I've just exhausted a whole load of crap on them, so yeah New Topic.

Oh yes, I am in serious need of a social life. Or, actually, in serious need of friends who don't have jam-packed timetables. DEAR KAWAN-KAWANKU, I AM ROTTING AT HOME, SAVE ME. :D I know its so ironic that I live opposite a mall with a movie theatre and all that shizz, but who likes walking alone? Oh okay I know there are people out there who do, but I don't. Never have, never will. *shudder. Another one of my fears, this alone thing. (The others are heights and lizards. & foreign food eeyuck.)

So I've been wasting my time online, specifically Facebook. I've just realized just how much Facebook has connected me with people I haven't seen in a long time or haven't talked to in a long time. Guess what? Our friendship ties are still stagnant. What have I been doing online! *shrug.

Woke up bright and early (6am cause I didn't reset my phone alarm ==) today because tis' an important day.

I was going for my driving test, like finally.

I was having nightmares for the rest of the week man. :(

Quote my dad, "Face the exam like you're going to fail" Trust me, I did. :(

I was unlucky number 3 on the list. Sesi 1. But but but if you think that's way early, Steph Tham was the first one up. Haha.

BUT I FAILED MY 3 POINT TURN.

I failed because I did 4 steps instead of 3.

I quote what the jpj guy said when I collected my results,

Guess who went for the taekwondo MSSS at Shah Alam?
Well, okay stupid question :)

I'm gonna be honest, I was very disappointed with myself. I could have could have could have gotten thru till the finals! But oh noooo, pity people la, people injured so gave them a chance then next thing you know she's giving me hell. No, my injured right foot should not be my excuse.

You know you could have done much better. >(

But anyways, this is my bronze :)

I've got to say, the msss competitors are a class above the mssd ones. Really.
Did you know there are 10 daerahs in selangor? Well, I didn't. o.O haha.

Fyi, its petaling utama, petaling perdana, klang, gombak, sepang, hulu langat, kuala langat, hulu selangor, kuala selangor and sabak bernam (which I thought was in sabah haha)

Needless to say, klang sapu-ed the girls and guys 16-18 medals.

(people get gold medal ah, Pat, you know. haha)

The competition was much more exciting cause we're not limited to the vest only. So if you kick the head you get points. I witnessed alot of people getting their head banged in o.O
(Especially the guy Nicole was stalking ==)

The competition ended earlier than I expected, about 5-ish. Then the prize-giving and all that. Then home. :)

Skipped school today, woke up at 9 and then proceeded with chem till noon. Feeling kinda accomplished yay, :) then mod maths tuition just now and chem tuition again tonight. Whoo. I think that's enough brain damage for a day.

I've sort of given up on UK. Don't know which college to apply for. Plus they're kinda expensive. So I think my original plan of foundation at Trinity's the closest to anything concrete of a plan I have.

By the way, my sense of direction is MIA. Has been MIA for awhile now. 17 years, exactly. I hope it pays me a miraculous visit next monday. Driving exam. Holy shit -.-

Seriously dunno what to blog about anymore. Exams start this thursday. MSSS's the day after tomorrow.

Just got back from a 3hour bio tuition and I've go to say, I was kind of looking forward to it because we'd be doing chapter 5 - genetics. I think that it's prolly my fave chapter so far. :) It's uncomplicated and fuss-free without a lot of memorizing work.

I think I understand why I can do Mod Maths but not Add Maths. In mod maths you don't really have a lot of formulae its more of an understanding process, like earth as a sphere; but in add maths you actually have this set of formulae you have to remember and apply, for example differentiation and integration - Ugh.

Which is why I cannot cannot cannot do sejarah and moral and all that memorizing stuff. I have short-term memory yo ~~which also explains why I got scolded so badly for not being able to remember the on-the-road routes during driving. :/~~

I guess I drew to this conclusion when I puzzled over it for a good 15 minutes in the car from tuition haha.

That's gonna be my official excuse next time. I have short-term memory loss, full stop. :)

Sometimes, in spite of what they may say or do, you know your family loves you.

So when my dad said I could drive the kelisa back from tuition every night, you know he listened when you whined "I never get to drive the car!" He finally relents cause he knows its important you practice. He also knows it might give him a myocardium infarction but he still lets you. Every night before you get in the driver's seat - with a very nervous brother in the passenger seat with one hand gripping tightly on his seatbelt and the other on the handbrake - he repeats, "It's showtime. Wear your seatbelts." Hahahaha. The when you park and get off the car, he says "Got improvement!" every single time then he beams. I love my dad :D

When you had a huge fight with your brother over trivial stuff, then you give him the cold shoulder for 3 days. But he still allows himself to sit in the passenger seat of the kelisa and risk popping an coronary artery. He always initiates the conversation after a huge fight and borrows you 5 bucks when you ask for it. He tells juicy gossip about his friends then you both laugh and then he says "Wanna hear another joke I heard from (insert name here)?" He borrows your phone to make a phone call then repays you 10 bucks in credit. I love my brother :P

My cousin, not an easy person to like. She nags and she nags and she nags. Many arguments have been started because of her naggings. You scream every once in awhile when you can't take it anymore then both of you get into another argument then you both ignore each other for days. Yet she still cooks your meals even if you refuse to eat it. She still drives you home from school everyday. She still drives you to get your contacts before your tkd competition at the last minute. She still helps you argue for a new phone when your's is broken. I love my cousin :)

So on the 18th of July, MU beat Malaysia 3-2. But I didn't go cause srsly, I don't get football.

I'm sorry but I just don't. :P

BUT TKD mssd was on that day too. My final year after 8 long years. Sigh, nostalgia. Remember Form 3, when we were so anxious? :D That was funny.

This year, Pat wasn't there so had Stephanie teman me. Our bouts were millions of lightyears away. Her first bout was 58 while mine was 64. So basically, when we reached at 8am, we had to wait till 4pm to fight. :X

WHY LA PAT YOU ALWAYS MISS THE RIGHT DAYS. :P

Entertained ourselves watching the other rounds. Bai xiao did well :D And Tmn Sea and BU3 had so many competitors the hall was filled with black t-shirts, lol.

I have a lot of stuff to write about. Also, Yeehua says I should update.

Also, we hate each other haha.

Starting from today then, since my memory only covers recent events (which is why I study last-minute you see). There was the edu fair at school today, so I went and swept every booth with universities or colleges related to UK or Aus.
I got really good info for a journalism course in London, so when I got back home, I told my dad and he's considering furthering my education in there, in the great land of adorable accents.

This is London. I love London :B

Moreover, my dad's friend's daughter studies at Uni of Manchester (which I heard great stuff about their mass comm) and she's gonna check back about Bellersby College :D

~~The cinema was nice and big and the air cond was great and since we were seated near the toilets it was really convenient~~ THE MOVIE WAS THE BOMB.

Like I said, "I've been waiting 5 years for this movie! Even if the first one only came out 2 years ago..."

The movie was pretty long though, but so worth it. The CGI people really overdid it this time. It was jaw-dropping all the way. :D

Remember him? Bumblebee? It was so adorable when he cried when Sam wouldn't bring him to college. :B And Megan Fox is hot. Even I have to admit it. :D

Alot of cliches though BUT ITS OKAY. :D

150 minutes of time well spent :) Go watch it gogogogogogogogogogogo.

Finally, my computer is alright. Free from viruses, non-working keyboards, non-loaded profiles... I'm so happy :)

This week was interesting. Lol due to the H1N1 case, half the population of DU was missing haha. I was very guai though, went everyday without fail. The swine flu thing has been over-exaggerated in the papers, IMHO. See, I'm fine :)

Haven't been online in a week, nothing's really changed though. Still nothing to write. Oh, GSC Tropicana City finally opened. I can now walk over for my movie cravings :D Going later to watch Transformers 2 with Pat and Adraian whoooo lo

Went tkd grading today.

Was kinda doubtful whether I would even go but then decided to because I'm sososososososososososo bored at home. It was definitely shorter than other gradings lol but Chee Kuan and I stoned alot thru it.

(ZOMG can you believe Ck came waahhhhh! lol)

We gabbed alot and were really kelefeh thru it all. Lol.

Had this mini-discussion with the blue-belters waiting for their turn, and it chronicled around cartoons.

RUN, I BITE :D

Hey, I've got a spanking new keyboard! :D Yes I'm really happy I can actually type with 2 hands and actually accomplish more typing in my life.

So anyway today was okay. Pn. Catherine had a little chat with us about our future edu and all that. She said that anyone is eligible to apply no matter what the results.

I dunno, though, I'm pretty sure once those college people get a hold of my results, they wouldn't be high-fiving each other nor celebrating the acceptance of an excellent new student;
in fact, they'd probably pass out because they haven't seen such appalling results since...forever.

Because no one with my results would dare to apply for a scholarship. Heh.

I guess it wouldn't hurt though. I'd probably try out for a Taylor's Scholarship in July. I wouldn't mind studying in Taylor's if I was going local.

Oh I think I've recovered nicely from my bout of fever. I say 'think' because I was still abit sick today. Lol no, Zunika, I do not have swine flu la.

Blood drive in school today. I wanted to donate but I couldn't because failed some criteria lol. I took meds for my fever. And also because my dad won't let me. He claims I may pass out from lack of blood.

"It's not a laughing matter, donating blood! Bu neng kai wan xiao!" LOL

Anyway better than KSY right. Minimum weight must be 45 kg, but she weighs just 33 kg. I'm not joking! O.O
